Reflexology Academy offers its very own Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Reflexology. The diploma programme is specifically designed to train students to the highest level of competency and skills to become successful professional reflexologists. Our graduates can become full members of Professional Reflexology (PR) and the Complementary Health Professionals association (CHP). Our graduates are eligible to register with the 'Complementary Natural Healthcare Council' (CNHC) who are the voluntary self-regulatory body for complementary therapies in the UK. Reflexology Academy is proud to be a member school of the Independent Reflexology Schools Association (IRSA).
The Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Reflexology is made up of a suite of units that are entirely reflexology based and aimed at producing confident professional and highly skilled reflexologists.
Reflexology in Clinical Practice
Specific Conditions in Clinical Practice
Applied Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Reflexology
Business Skills for the Reflexology Practitioner
These units are studied as a whole, integrated for effective learning across one academic year and not as stand-alone units. Clinical Reflexology for specific conditions covers training in fertility and maternity reflexology, and reflexology for cancer and palliative care.
During your course, you will undertake 100 case study treatments including assessments of your practical skills in the form of client studies. You will build a portfolio of work throughout the course, and upon successful completion of this and your practical and written assessments, you will then qualify as a professional Reflexology Practitioner.
Reflexology Academy is the only provider of the Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Reflexology and the training is 100% specific to becoming a Professional Clinical Reflexologist. Reflexology Academy's Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Reflexology is fully accredited by the Complementary Health Professionals association (CHP) and is a Professional Reflexology (PR) affiliated school.
There is no 'academic' requirement or previous experience needed to be eligible to register onto this course. Some of the course work is submitted by e-mail, so you need to be able to use a word processing program and know how to attach files to an e-mail. The minimum age requirement for registration onto this course is 18 years and an adequate level of spoken and written English is a necessity.
